EWM is an intellectual property asset management company with services tailored to the water and related industries. EWM’s main operations include the development of intellectual property, protection of intellectual property, and licensing of intellectual property. EWM’s intellectual property includes desalination processes, minerals recovery processes, and associated inventions. Associated inventions include green energy and additional product production processes associated with desalination and minerals recovery.

EWM’s intellectual property involves process technology. EWM does not own or create any equipment. Instead, EWM creates innovative processes in combining many existing sources of technology to create a new process. Therefore, the risk of using EWM’s technology is reduced as the actual equipment has been created and proven out by others.

In addition to the above, EWM seeks to develop patents in the areas of most concern for stakeholders. For instance, even though EWM’s intellectual property is on the forefront of the ESG movement (e.g., is less energy demanding, creates no liquid and potentially no solid waste, and creates clean water at an affordable price), EWM continues to be on the forefront of developing even more ESG processes. For example, EWM increased its intellectual property portfolio recently to allow desalination/mineral recovery to be based entirely on green energy and with no carbon emissions. This enables clients to seek preferential sales and pricing due to producing green products as well as respond to the requests/needs of ESG interests.
