EWM Issues Green Hydrogen Paper (August 2023)

  • EWM's paper describes its high efficiency Green Liquid Hydrogen System(TM) and its benefits including:

  • Uses 100% renewable photovoltaic (PV) and wind power to produce and liquify hydrogen for energy storage, Electro-methanol (E-Methanol) production, and green ammonia production.

  • 98% energy efficient Liquid Hydrogen (LH2) production, with byproduct heat captured and used for desalination, CO2 Direct Air Capture (DAC), and on-demand steam turbine power production.

  • Co-production of Liquid Air (LAir) and liquified air based industrial gases (helium, neon, nitrogen, argon, krypton, and xenon) for additional energy storage.

  • High efficiency (>95% H2 Low Heating Value (LHV) to power) conversion of stored LH2 and LAir to on demand peaking power.

EWM has developed a process that can be used to produce low or no cost water and minerals from available brackish groundwater for a combined agricultural, biofuels, and green H2 based electrofuel facility. This process can be used for renewable diesel, sustainable aviation fuel, and green liquid hydrogen. Low cost fresh water availability is the key resource which would allows a company to partner with ranch owners (i.e. land lease) to monetize the undervalued land resource. West Texas is one area that has the best combined agricultural, solar, and wind green fuel resource in the world.

As regulatory environments continue to change and water scarcity rises all over the world, water is looking to become a major aspect of all types of industrial productivity. EWM’s process can reduce your need for water in an economical manner.
