The EWM green energy system is based on using intermittent photovoltaic (PV) and wind power (onsite/over-the-fence generation) to power EWM’s Full Recovery Desalination® process.

EWM's green energy system uses a customized and integrated application of Thermal Energy Storage (TES) and Liquid Air Energy Storage (LAES) to allow intermittent PV and wind power to cost effectively power the EWM Full Recovery Desalination® process, which operates continuously to maximize capital utilization.  In addition to desalination and minerals recovery, the EWM green energy system also can be applied to renewable diesel, sustainable aviation fuel, green liquid hydrogen, green glass, and green PVC production.
